ADANZ provides expert information and policy advice,  early intervention and support services to the people of New Zealand.   ADANZ manages the Alcohol Drug Helpline, compiles the national Addictions Treatment Directory and delivers a range of services led and developed by people who have previously used addiction treatment services.

ADANZ manages the Drug Helpline, 0800 787 797, a national telephone service available from 10.00 am – 10.00 pm seven days a week. The Helpline is funded by ALAC and the Ministry of Health.

The Helpline offers free confidential information, insight and support on issues arising from drinking or other drug use. In addition we have a dedicated Maori Line, 0800 787 798, Pasifika Line, 0800 787 799 and the METHHELP TEAM, accessible through the main line.
